Klondike Days provides an opportunity for "Buckskinners" to ply their skills of winter camping at the Rendezvous site. Visitors are welcome to discuss the hobby of "Buckskinning"; an individual or family activity of learning and experiencing the crafts and living skills of early Americans from the 1600s through the nineteenth century. Vendors and blanket traders offer materials and handcrafted wares to those who are seeking special gifts (or "plunder") to enhance their interest in this exciting and educational hobby. The winter setting offers a whole new perspective to this ever growing family hobby
