Klondike Antique Sleigh Rally

The new addition of the Klondike Days Antique Sleigh Rally for 2010 was very well received.  The Sleigh Rally is a friendly competition between antique sleigh and cutter owners where each competitor parades their horse and sleigh ensemble around a groomed track located on Northland Pines School grounds.  Each competitor is to be dressed in the time period correct clothing to match the age of their sleigh or cutter. 

The competitors are judged by a panel of two judges.  There will be 10 different classes for our new registrants to enter in: Single Horse, Multiple Horse, Single Pony, Multiple Pony, Single Draft Horse and Multiple Draft Horse, Best in show for Sleigh ensemble, and Most Authentic.  Their will also be a prize available for the Klondike Crowd's Favorite!

Look for this event to start on Saturday; hookup time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and the exhibition will start at 1:00 p.m.  Come and see for yourself the beautiful sleighs and costumes that Klondike Days brings back to life for all our visitors to enjoy!
